Toyota Vienta Grande Rego Papers
Hey fellow club members, do you own a Toyota Vienta Grande? If you do, can you please check your rego papers and let me know if the RTA have it as a Toyota Vienta Grande or as a Camry XV 20? Thanks in advance. -

Lower strut bolts
203 ft-lbs is ~275Nm, which is pretty normal for strut-to-knuckle bolts on Toyotas. When you say "stripped", do you mean the actual thread on the bolt/nut or did the head of the nut get rounded off? Also, what was the condition of the thread before you tried to tighten it up? Suspension bolts cope some of the worst conditions of any fastener in the car. -

For Sale - 1989 Camry V6 180,000klm
2 owner car offered for sale. Currently registered in NSW but offered for sale in Victoria without registration. Drives really well and regularly serviced. Body needing repair. Shame to see it be crushed when it will leave many newer cars for dead at the lights and cruise along the highway in overdrive. Daughter has moved interstate and so car needs to find a new home and hopefully a new life. Reasonable offers requested. Currently located in Western Victoria. DIY - Changing Gearbox Oil
Hi, newbie here. Sorry if I have done this incorrectly and I know this is an old post but I have a couple of questions if I may, 1. Just purchased a 2008 Corolla (10th Gen) that has a 6 speed gear box. Has 116,000kms on the clock. As far as I am aware the gearbox oil has never been changed. The service schedule in the book only says to “Inspect” every 40,000kms. This is a bit concerning to me. I change my 2002 Corolla (5 speed) gearbox oil every 40,000kms (has 185,000kms on the clock) 2. I see that the quantity of oil needed for the 6 speed is 2.3litres. I am assuming this is just so you know how much oil to buy? I “fill to spill” from the fill port on my 2002 5 speed gearbox. Would the 6 speed bee the same? Thanks and regards -

Aurion: Drive Shaft
To follow the trend I was quoted $440 for a brand new RH shaft and fitting at a local garage. Probably going to do myself though - Seems easy enough, about 3 bolts and some maneuvering from what I've seen.- 1

Vienta V6 Parts Help
Hi Ian I think you have cracked it. The tie-rod ends do indeed have TRW stamped on them and now having checked yes they are M16x1.5mm. The supplied spares are all M14x1.5mm. Thank you for shedding some light. I will remove the inner and outer ones on one side and go along to my local parts store and see what we can find in the catalogues. Good news, she passed her annual MOT test today, they noted the play in the steering but said it was minimal and will certainly be fine for the time being. best regards Adam -

2012 Levin ZR ZRE152 Auto Headlight Beam Issue
Hi all, I have searched high and low over the internet and haven't managed to find anyone else that has mentioned this issue in the past. In the past couple of days I have noticed a constant dull thud every couple of seconds which I first assumed to be some fatal mechanical problem but after doing a walk around noticed the headlight clicking back and forth. I've now noticed that the headlight beam is pointing very low and can only assume there is a motor driving the headlights up and down to compensate for the angle of attack the car is driving at. I have since confirmed watching the headlight beam while parked at night jumping up and down with each tap of the headlight. Has anyone else experience something similar and/or have any suggestions on how I can fix it? Would appreciate any help. Thanks Ken
