is it possible to fit a bigger exhaust to my 05 carolla seca sport.

hello, i have a corolla seca sport, with stock exhaust, i am wanting to change it myself, the only problem is i don't want to have to change the rear skirt, will the rear skirt get in the way of a cannon or twin tip muffler? what if they are pointing down possible that will work.

does anyone know of a good exhaust for my corolla? i'm thinking twin tip. thanks simo

If theres room around your current one then theres room for a bigger one. Dont get a cannon, they're not good for lil N/A 4cly engines. If the hole is round and hasnt got a twin tip now, you might not have room for a twin. Look into larger singles instead.

yeah i thought a cannon would be a bad idea, are the bolt on ones better? ive found one on ebay called axle back exhaust, that bolts on for 05 corolla.

Hey mate, many a questions have been asked of this before...

the set-up you have (sportivo rear lip i presume) will only be unmodified if you choose a sportivo catback... the outlet of the tip is lower then most aftermarket exhausts.

if you get any other type of exhaust outlet, then YES, you will need to modify the rear skirt. Unless you choose a dump-tip, then she will be fine . The choice is yours :D
