Missing screw on engine head?!

Hi there, just as i took the engine cover off my aurion i found that there was a nipple without anything screwing into it.

Here's some pics.

Could anyone justify this?

..... ie in between the second and third sensor things! :)

the aurion engine 2GRFE fits into many different vehicles, rav ,tarago kluger , lexus as well. so the rocker covers may have other sensors ,coil packs or even an extra earth . So the area with nothing on or in it would be normal.
