Wheel fitment thoughts? for Camry Sportivo 2007

Hey guys

Did some search and could not nail down my question.

I was hoping you guys could recommend.

I have set of staggered wheels lying in the garage and want to put it to good use

18 x 8 +45

19 x 8.5 +45

I was wondering what size tyre I should go to fit these on the Camry.

I have done some calculation to get a dimension as close to the stand wheels 215/55/17 and it seems like

235/40/19

235/45/18

or

225/40/19

225/45/18

I would prefer 235, just hoping you guys can answer me whether 235 width tyres will fit nicely onto a camry with the wheel specs I provided without rubbing etc.

Hope you can help

Cheers

Thanks for your help guys.

I ended up with 235 45 18 and clearance is fine

on wheels

18 x 8 +45

18 x 8.5 +50

Hi there - I am no tyre expert but I had an absolute cow of a time finding wheels I liked to suit my '06 Sportivo. I don't know if this helps you given it's a different wheel size, but I've got "18 Enforcers on, 18 x 8 at a +38 offset on 235/40/18 and I've got no issues whatsoever, great fitment and the wheels look fantastic (as my signature pic can attest).

If you haven't already looked the Wheels and Tyres section of the forum is pretty helpful and I believe quite a few members have posted about their fitments and posed similar questions. I don't imagine you'd have any issues with 235 width tyres. Good luck!

Id say get either;

235/45R18 for 18s wheels

225/40/19 (or) 235/40/19 for 19 inch wheels.

Hope the below snapshot helps aswell.

Don't spose you could advise what kind of Camry you're driving?

The Gen 6 that Tash drives has a much bigger wheel arch compared to the earlier Gen Camrys out there.

Hey Shannon - topic title suggests it's an 07 Camry, so that's why I offered my thoughts :) You're definitely right about the wheel arch.. finding wheels overall for this Camry was a definite pain in the ****, unless I liked multi spoke designs lol
