I just recently realised that my car's RPM does not go to 0 or start at 0 when its stationary. What could be the problem? My speedometer is faulty, and the mechanic told me that I have to replace the sensor. Could the RPM problem be related?

Thanks!

RMP - Revolutions Per Minute. If your RMP guage shows 0 RPM your engine is not running mate. Please let this be a joke!

I too hope that this is a joke. Or a bot. Only thing that I can think of is a hybrid where the engine shuts off but definitely not for the car that he says he has in the profile.

I was even worried when my RPM stayed at 1000, used to stay at around 1.5-2k rpm...

Well... Ur case is definitely normal...
