Hello Camry veterans

Hoping to become a member of the Camry club lol

I had a read through all 50+ pages here but only turned up a few threads

Got any tips or things I should look out for with a 04 Camry Altise MCV36R 6 Cyl, 3.0 litre version?

Its a used dealer car, with 3 year warranty, 148k on the clock

Going for a test drive tomorrow sometime

Cheers in advance!

Just going from my MCV36R Sportivo @ 100km:

- Make sure it has had the recall work done regarding the headlight ballasts. They'll fix it for free

- LH front shock was leaking

- Alternator died and needed to be replaced

No other major issues in it's life. Very reliable.

Can't go wrong with a Camry! There's stacks of us out there... just not many wanna join a club like TOCAU or Auscam, lol...

As long as you treat the Cam right, it'll go on for years mate.

I agree mate, you cant go wrong with Camry's. Had mine for 5 yrs havent had any problems.

Just make sure the recall on the lights have been done.

You might also need a Major service done and if your not getting warranty have it NRMA inpected just to be on the safe side.
