Need some info........

Hi everyone,

Just signed up, lookin for some help from all you Australian Toyota owners.

So my love has bought herself a 2010 Silver Toyota Camry and is searchin for some options that were not offered to us here in the States.

First off, let me say that Im not sure that the info Ive gathered is 100% correct.

If any of it sounds wrong, please feel free to correct me.

The main items shes lookin for has takin us over 9000 miles away to you guys.

First are the "blinker" mirrors.

From what Ive learned, "blinker" or "signal" mirrors were not offered on any Camry models, but the doors on the Camry are the same used on the Aurion.

Can anyone confirm this?

If yes, then it looks like Im lookin for a set of OEM or equivalent, mirrors(with blinker) off an Aurion.

Next comes the headlight.

On your Australian model Camry, it appears the headlight is all clear with no orange plastic turn signal like the U.S.model.

Can anyone confirm this? If so, can anyone confirm that the headlights from the Australian model can swap to the U.S. model?

Sorry to be asking for so much so soon, but Im getting no help from over here.

Hopefully you guys have better service from Toyota and they can help with this info.

So if all this checks out, Im gonna be lookin to pick up a set of headlights off a Camry and the mirrors off the Aurion.

Yes, they are the same doors. However, if you fit Aurion mirrors, what are you going to do with the holes in the guards where the repeater lenses are located?

Yes, we don't have amber front park lights like you guys do. Our park lights are straight forward white. I guess you could fit Australian spec headlamp assemblies. Bare in mind though, that RHD headlamps are going to be configured differently to LHD ones. Ours are designed to light up the LH shoulder of the road, whereas yours will be designed to light up the RH shoulder.

Welcome! Try get the parts from China version Camry, and easy to find in Ebay.
