Hi All,

Just looking for reference times for an Echo / Yaris 1.5L, in particular for Winton Raceway?

At the moment I can only find this one:

http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?05/04/2009.WIN.Q6

Lauren Gray Motorsport Echo: 1:47.5223 ....which is from the improved production car series. This time was achieved with uprated brakes, coilover suspension , exhaust and engine management tuning.

They have an Echo and Corolla Sportivo in the Production car championship:

Hoping to find a good reference time for a stock Echo / Yaris 1.5L. At the moment i have a figure of around 1:55 (long track)

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Jules

I think this is the corolla in question:

Mind you these are improved production cars! I think they are pretty quick times still!

if you can do it within 2 mins would be very impressive results for stock car.

Hope so.

We did sub 2mins with a 1.3L starlet, which was stock bar 15 inch rims.

We did 1:53 with a 1.3LT Starlet with Coilovers and 15inch rims.

Come watch if you're bored. There is a nice bunch of cars out:

Aiming to go 1:55. Will find out more this weekend @ Winton. I'm in Group A, which has a nice bunch of cars to chase. :D 24 degrees with some morning showers i think . So it should be ok.

what oMoMo said, if you do under 2mins then thats pretty impressive for a stockish car if it is. Can't compare a Starlet GT to the Yaris/Echo - different animal altogether, alot lighter and also has forced induction. My friends' GT has gone 1.44

I think you'll do 1.57-2mins but thats IMO. Feel free to prove me wrong.
