Just fitted in 4 new NGK Iridium plugs having paid $14 a piece. Definitely more power and consistent engine performance. I was initially doubtful whether it will bring about any benefits but having done so, I am pleased with the outcome.

Unless your old plugs were really fouled, then I can bet that the 'more power' that you could feel is more than likely something called the placebo effect.

But it makes a difference!!!!

@ Daryl - You are on a rampage tonight!!!! hahahahahah

It is the placebo effect, Iridium spark plugs are not bought for the sole purpose of performance gains.

Chances are your sparks needed a change and you're just noticing the difference between a standard plug that is old and a newer plug that is designed to be more efficient (though technically you shouldn't be using a single electrode plug!)
