My very first Corolla question.

Hello everyone B) ,

Just got a used Corolla Conquest today, its a Jan 03 auto,hatch model (clocked only 20,000kms) and paid $17k for it through private sale. What you guys reckon? Was it a good deal?

This is my very first time driving a Toyota and I must say I'm impressed with the silky smooth engine for a 4 cyl car. I do have however some questions regarding the Conquest range of Corolla.

1) No allow wheels?

2) No auto-windows behind?

3) Any ABS? There is a passenger side air-bag so shall I assume safety pack was purchased for the car thus comes with ABS? Got a way to check if ABS is present?

These are not very important to me but just some stuff I assumed would be standard with the Conquest but apparently it is not. Any Conquest owner here care to share?

Welcome to the forum.... Sorry i dont own a conquest so i can speak from personal experience but this might help u out.

As for ur questions from the link i would say

1) No allow wheels? Yes it should have come with them

2) No auto-windows behind? This is correct

3) Any ABS? There is a passenger side air-bag so shall I assume safety pack was purchased for the car thus comes with ABS? Got a way to check if ABS is present? No ABS but it comes with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution)

Some Conquests did come with standard rims,my work owns a few that have standard rims and only two have alloys.

ABS is optional,usually a sticker on back windscreen is placed their by Toyota dealer if ABS is fitted.

NOT True, the series one did not have alloy wheels as standard, the series two did.

Just goes to show that u shouldnt believe everythin u read ;) ;) ;) :P :P :P
