I got it delivered today took only a week to arrive, happy about that. Installation was not as straight forward, i had to cut about an inch off the end where the pod sits as there was no room to put the pod. The pipe end where the pod sits is not bent down like the TRD or AEM. By far the hardest of all intakes to install but it looks good and sounds fairly lod. The pod is smaller than a TRD one, same as my old K&N very similar to the AEM. My missus was over in my old 03 rolla with the TRD CAI and K&N filter. We made 6 rolling starts from 20kph in 2nd till redline and there was no difference at all. They both sound awesome in lift but performance wise no difference. I remember when my car was stock and we made a rolling start there was no diff at all so it makes me wonder how much power you really get from a CAI.....never mind though the noise is great. Pics will be up in the next couple of days.

Thumbs up for trying other brands of CAI even though there wasn't much of a performance difference but hey you never know, maybe up to 4th gear you will see the Injen pull away slightly but i highly doubt it up against a TRD CAI :P

Will love to see pics of it, can't wait ;)

Nice work... Interesting about the fitment issues though, seams the TRD and AEM are a better choice for pipe fitment, though they both have bracket problems...

Was it one piece or 2 piece in the end?

Can't wait for the pics :D

After driving for a few days i must admit the car feels a little torquier down low and the pod is nice and quiet around cruising speeds, only opens up its throat around 4 grand and upwards. At idling speed it makes a howling type noise....quite cool. The system is not bolted by any brackets it fits soo tight under the headlight it doesent need anything else.

Filter looks identical to my AEM one... the pipe is a lot different though...

Also those foggies look like they'd be a biatch to take out, and I thought the little squeeze release in the '03-04 models was painful to remove!!!

yeah the foggies are soo bulky in size, you almost need the end of the pipe to bend backwards to slot the filter on. I had to push the pipe from up top into the filter to get the filter in. Took me about 2 hours for everything.
