Hi there

First time posting ....

We have a Toyota kluger Grande (2006 i think) ..

A couple of weeks ago we had very heavy rain in Sydney through Friday night and some of Saturday.

On Satruday afternoon, my wife went out to the car and the rear LS window was fully down. The window would not go up. You could hear the clicking of the motor but it was absolutely soaked.

We took the car to the Toyota service dept and the went through various tests and in the end told us we needed a new electric motor ... $1200 later we had the car back and window working.

We assumed we had left the window open and this was all our fault etc ...

HOWEVER >>>>>> Since then ... there have been two occassions when we have had heavy rain. AND each time we have gone out to the car and the same window is down - water has penetrated the elctrics and the window wont go up.

This just happened again 2 nights ago ........ and i cannot believe that we are leaving the same window open all the time.

Does anyone think that the rain could be getting into the window somehow and somehow makes the window go down, then the rain keeps soaking the electrics ...

Its a strange question but i am trying to see if this is possible as we just cant be that stupid not to see the window open ..

Anyone ?????
