I have a 2001 4 cylinder automatic sedan with 120,000km on the clock.

Following a week where the battery charge lamp was intermittently appearing on the instrument panel, the SRS lamp has now appeared and remains lit regardless of whether the car ignition is turned to "accessories" or the "on" position and remains on during driving.

The heavy duty battery is only 15 months old and holds a good charge (12.8 volts open circuit) according to my digital voltmeter.

Should I suspect the alternator or regulator output.....any DIY advice would be much appreciated.
