aurion ash tray swap

hi

has any one swapped the ash tray just under the air con controls

for the double din compartment from the Camry ?

it seems a waste of space to have that little ash tray and a blanking panel

if the Camry compartment can be fitted with little fuss

i have a 2008 Aurion and the Camry i drove was 2010

The way the centre console is assembled is is different between the Camry and the Aurion. I would imagine that you would probably have to swap more than the compartment to make it all work.

i watched some vids on utube about head unit install

i could see quite plainly how different they are so thats that idea out
