i need new rubbers for the window channel (where the windows slide on) for the 2 front doors.

Anyone know where you can get them apart from Toyota. And what cost? Is it a job to be done professionally or can it be done b yourself?

How handy are you? ive done them front and rear on quite a few older corollas and you will need to remove the glass from the door to fit the new rubber and sleeve if the camry is identical to the corolla which i believe it would be close. Go to a wreckers and ask for a good set and see how much cheaper they are than Toyota , if it was me id go and buy new ones for peace of mind. To ahve someone fit them may cost a little bit though as your going to be paying for someone to remove the door cards , windows etc.

Hope this helps!

i was planning on new ones, i just wonders if there were non genuine ones around to save some $$$.

I was rather hoping that you wouldn't need to remove the door panel/glass (can't figure out to take them off, tried once) and though you could just push it in, so it seems its a little more to it than that, nothing is as simple as one hopes, might be something that someone who knows how to do it to do it.

I wouldn’t bother with used ones, too much time spend on trying to find them with no guarantee that it will be good condition. Get them from Toyota, by memory, they cost around the $90 mark each.

You will definitely need to remove the door glass and trims in order put the rubbers.

i wouldn't dream on getting used ones ones. So around $90-ish each, plus probably someone to fit 'em - expensive, but worth it. Thanks.
