ahh this is true... yeah there were people i've never seen in my life before lol... esp that ae86. yes it was clean but i didnt think it would have taken out the overall prize! i voted the crown to win overall. very clean in and out and very original...

Like I said, AE86s have a lot of appeal to a certain group of people, and very little to most others. They're so played-out up here in NSW that it would have to be an absolutely amazing example (either pristine mint, or works factory race car) to stand out in my mind, and IMO neither of those two were - sure the paint may have been decent on the red one, but Best Exterior is waaay more than just paint quality and a clean set of wheels (and glaring things like the ill-fitting grill knocked it down several pegs)

Can't actually remember what I voted for Best Overall though, exterior was to the Crown purely because of how good condition it was in for the age and history, and to Duy for that amazing door handle :P.

They won fair and square - so be it. Even if they are non members, with an oppinion like that said a loud which may come across to them as a hater, i doubt they would want to join tocau anyway.

Was a fun day. Was really hung over but the snags hit the spot well. Peters cooking abilities and how he man handled the sausages were really impressive
