Hi everyone, I have just joined the Toyota forum tonight but I have had my Prado since 2004. Great car and very happy with it. Just wanted to share an experience that I had a couple of weekends ago.

A mate of mine bought a 2011 Kluger and wanted to test it on the beach at Bribie Island. He asked me to come along with him just in case the Kluger didn't take to the soft sand conditions to well. We took the inland track from Whitepatch and to my surprise the Kluger kept up with me in the Prado and went through some pretty deep sand without any problems. Even where I engaged 4WD HR (where a couple of 4WD were bogged in the middle of the island), the Kluger just kept on going.

To those other Kluger owners, give the sand a go. The trick was that we took it steady and kept the momentum going. Any other Kluger owners had the same experience?

Hey mate, Welcome to the club.

Not many prado / Kluger owners here, but I've been in one and I like it.
