Hi From Melbourne

Just need a bit of advice

I'm looking to buy a 1985 Celica convertible as a project.

The body and paint (Red) and interior (Black velour) seem to be in great condition, Could not find any rust. Are there particular areas on a 1985 Celica that are more susceptible to rust ?

The top is NOTin good condition.

On the registration sticker it states "Toyota Tourer" !

Were there any companies here in Oz that did conversion.

Were any that were done by "American Specialty Cars" in the states imported to Australia?

It has not been registered in five years and has been under a carport all that time.

Thanks guys.
