Install on-off hook button on steering wheel

I have fitted a bluetooth enabled toyota stereo to my 2010 KXR. I'd like to fit an on-off hook button in place of the blank on the steering wheel. I am assuming that the wiring and connector will be fitted. I have not worked out how to remove the small panel on the RH side of the steering wheel that the button will be fitted to. Anyone fitted or replaced this button? If so how do you remove the panel? Tried searching the net but have only found how-to's on removing the complete steering wheel.
