Prado 2.7 2005 spark plugs

My prado is using

Denso K16R-U i wanted to get better spark plugs so i got the...

Denso 1KH20 - 5334 - i read those fit the tacoma 2.7 2005 engine 3RZ

But installing them i realized that they are longer in the base... The side that goes into the cilynder... So They are going to be more close to the piston... So my question is... Can i use them?

What do you mean by better spark plugs?

Its one of those things that even the performance guys use only whats recommended in the workshop manual unless its a heavily modded engine

I for one would not use anything longer than the stock spark plugs

I guess you are right, no my prado is stock, i was planning on using better spark plugs Iridium instead of the ones from factory... but will use factory ones.

Iridium plugs should not be longer than normal ones unless its a completely different plug

If you have your current ngk part number then go to their site and it'll tell you the iriduim plug to buy

Also only benefit of iridium plugs is that they dont need replacing as often but they do cost 4 times as much as normal ones
