heya all, just got a 2011 silver build 1 for the GF (if she likes it will trade up to build 2 or 3 furnace in the next year or so)

im in the nissan GTR scene so in the dark with these

anyway she wants a set of rims to stand out against the silver; and yes she likes Pink

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300785475175#ht_1812wt_1111

first what is the offset with the standard rims?

second what offset are people running, pics side on would be great. Only looking to stay with 16 or maybe go 17 inch (no bigger as we do about 700km per week on sh*t adelaide roads)

i want a bit of dish and to fill the guards a bit bit, have been looking at +40.

will get some king springs and just lower about 1-2 inch for now too

the more info the better

Cheers

Matt

I doubt +40 will fill the guards. If you went to +30 or even +20 you might get the desired results. I would be trying to find a shop that will let you test fit, so you can get a good idea before you buy.

places like option1garage and jdmyard usually do not have a problem with this.

flushness fitment guide on the US forums lol

I'm running Ordens 18x8.5 +35 at the front /18x9.5 +35 at the rear and Victrix 18x8 +30 F/8x9 +35 on coilovers, sits nicely and don't scrub on stock guards

I'll will be running more aggressive width and offset once I'm back from Japan

thanks for that, any pics with differant offsets would be good to give me an idea too. doesnt matter on diameter but if you can mention width and offset to give me that would be good.

how do you go with differant offsets front and back?

  • 1 month later...

btw beside PCD what is the original wheels offset? I have a set of 19" x 7.5" et35 (225/35/19), 17" x 7.5 et35 (225/45/17) and 20" x 7.5 et45 225/30/20. those tyre size are yet to be fitted. im afraid 225 too wide for 7.5" wheels low profile..
