New to the hilux forums. new to 4x4 ownership too

Hi there all ,

just moved to CQ coast and swapped my vl turbo calais for a hilux 4x4 dually before i left as calais wasnt going to do what i wanted up here.

upsides - 4x4 , lift kit, tray area, canopy , few scratches and big ***** spotty's and bullbar :P ( rear ones too )

downsides - its petrol and ........ ummmm ....... a 4Y :( oh and has standard hilux rust but im a painter so thats an easy win.

Basically going to upgrade engine and sort the body issues out asap. 4y runs nice avearaged 14l per 100 on way form adelaide to Rockhampton with 800kgs of tools and house stuff in it . Towed my cars around adelaide before i left all sweet.

cant wait to get it into Stony creek area here in CQ .
