Hey guys, currently I got an acv40 camry and I'm wondering if an aurion gsv 40's air box and snorkel will fit in my model.

The reason why is that I'm hoping to get a greater suction into my car since the stock snorkels are puny which leads to a massive restriction of flow in air.

Waste of money & time I say.

You might as well throw in a cold air intake.

Hmm wouldn't it be cheaper to get one? Hmm and I also thought CAI are sought've useless as well.

Massive restriction eh. Can you back that up with proof?

Hmm thats the thing. Not too sure how big the GSV ones are. My current one right now from what I remember is only like 10cms

I think D was asking about the stock camry one that you have being restrictive.

Pretty sure the most restrictive part of the intake is the air filter...

Pffft. Who needs the air filter?

Yeah. If these guys can go without, then why not.

I take no responsibility if you actually think I'm serious.

shouldve mentioned before, I also have gotten a k&n air filter as well. Thats another reason why I'm hesitant to not purchase a CAI. lol..

lol without an air filter the car will suck up more dirt then restrict the flow even more during time.

100% waste of money, you will get none to minimal gains and you won't even notice it. If you think you do, it is purely placebo.

But you get noise so that's instant gains!

hahaha. Sprayed my calipers a few months back. Noticed 50kw gain.

That's ridiculous! Red is the highest and that only gains 25kW

2 coats my friend, 2 coats...

Thats it! But because it's yellow (which doesn't produce much kw) I ended up using 4 to get that max gain =D
