Hi guys, I'm in the process of ordering a dc sports intake kit for my 07 model. I've been talking to a guy from the US that has one on his camry and he tells me the filter is mounted behind the passenger fog light. I've been hearing/reading a bit about water bypass valves. From what I can gather they are simply a secondary filter mounted in the inlet piping closer to the intake. The idea behind them is if the primary filter were to be submerged, the extra vacuum created within the inlet piping would start sucking air from further up the inlet tract. Anyone had any experience with these? Should I get one as cheap insurance? Is it a waste of money? Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks.
