Removing 3M tape from window

Hey all.

As the title says, I need to remove 3M tape from my front window, without leaving any glass damage.

Once the tape is removed, I imagine I will need to use some chemicals to remove the sticky residue that will be left.

Can anyone give me some tips?

Not yet. need to remove the tape first... which I also have no idea how to do...

Is the window tinted? If not then use a very sharp blade and some metho.

just scrape under the tape with the blade, then clean any residue with metho. That is how I remove stickers from un-tinted glass...

Doing it on the inside of tinted windows WILL ruin the tint, but its ok to do on the outside.

It's the front window, under the rear view mirror. Does that have factory tint? or will I be ok?

That's fine. If you want to be a bit safer, go with eucalyptus oil + cotton balls or a scraper. If that fails, try metho
