My cabin temperature dial is not working and it looks like the cable that connects the dial and the cogs behind the radio has stretched. Does anyone know the best fix for this? Do I just order a new cable from Toyota or can I tighten the existing cable ie. do i need special tools?

Thx in advance.

Be cheaper an easier to get part No.55906-0K010 than stuffing around trying to tighten

Thanks for the part ref. Went to Toyota dealer today and was quoted $45 for the cable. Am looking around online to get it cheaper..
