CES EXHAUST

Recommended Posts

As some of you might now, i have not been a huge fan of CES, but after a few months of fruitless research i bit the bullet, and bit my own tongue......and GOT ONE :D ...and it rocks. Only one issue, the knuckleheads that installed it stuffed something up as it makes a hissing sound coming from what i think is the exhaust manifold, and it also touches the inner left exhaust cavity, so i gotta go and see what can be done. Otherwise its an absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship and the car...well the transition into lift is there but not as much, and the torque hole between 4-6 grand is vastly improved. I have to say its been the best mod so far... Good stuff CES two thumbs up :)

OMFG, YOU HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!!!

with regard to hitting the heat shield it has happened to alot of cars up here, and CES has been very good in fixing it, so you are not alone. Im am glad you like the system mate and that would make you happy customer bout 13 i think. :)

CES (Custom Exhaust Specialists) is in brisbane, and are quite happy to send systems to anywhere in the country

CES is in Meadowbrook, Southside QLD. I had a price from them to do an exhaust on my current car, and was quoted $1600. I then went to Right Price Exhaust in Moss St. and they quoted me $900, why is there such a difference??? Do CES use different brands/parts, or is it all just custom work, no "off-the-shelf" items...

CES research and then develop according to application. and also use high grade materials.. often you can ask for mild steel or stainless steel, after getting my exhaust for the stivo from them i was happy about the result.. but everyone is right it is a ****load of money for a piece of pipe...

What work did CES quote you for, because $1600 seems quite high.

I think the going rate for previous CES customers has been around the $900 for a cat-back system.

Im not getting the red one, Oldmac couldnt do a good enough trade on my current car, to satisfy me and the bank, so they tryed to pressure me into doing a deal by saying "I have someone else waiting if you dont take it now". I went back on friday to get my deposit back, and the person who they had lined up finance didnt go through. The salesman said to me its still here, and i told him come up with a better price then give me a call.

They are only out to get as much money out of you as possible, so you have to be firm and take no **** off them.

It was for extractors, cat back, 2.25' and a second muffler on the opposite side of the rear bumper (i already have one muffler)

I cant wait, im going to do a run without using lift and i think you guys might be shocked, it just pulls soo hard between 4-6 grand. I mean it chirps the tyres doing a 1-2 gear change at 5 grand :D now thats torque :D :D. By the way o picked it up for $1,135 including delivery. Full stainless mirror polished muffler. $40 to install :)

We test drove a wagon at Oldmac before we bought ours ... very high pressure, I must say, we told him our timeframe and yet he insisted we sign up then and there. <_<

I know most car salesman are high pressure but this guy took the cake.

Ah, that would make sense then! :)

I'd be interested to see the second muffler install ... the only way to get one on the wagon was to have it hanging just off the ground, because the spare wheel is offset to the passenger side ... one driveway and that's the end of that! :P

now that the car releases some gas at a better efficiency rate, i think it needs to take some air in at the same level of efficientcy level too. That sounded like AEM.

that would make it 'synergise' nicely :)

honestly that combo is sweet... ;)
