Got some time to sit down and mock this circuit up on the bread board today.

a quick test showed it was going to work. Pretty simple design using a 555 timer and 4017 decade counter.

Been really keen to get this set up and working for some time now.

Here it is on the breadboard. looked very promising.

Next was time to try it out on my new setup for the aurion

Cheers guys tyvm :D

Spent the day designing a PCB in Diptrace, I'll fabricate and populate the boards through the week , they sit size wise @ 60mm x 40mm so quiet small.

small enough to easily fit inside housings.

Well here they are. DIY printed and etched. Still gotta grab a small bit and drill them.

Not the best ive seen but good enough to populate :D

Prototype Boards needed a few minor tweeks, Will revise the layout reprint and etch and post up the final board.

But for now it's done. I should be able to reproduce them pretty quik now.

Next will be to add a switchback ciruit to the board to make a all in one unit.

Impressive work. I lurk in the other forum & been admiring your other LED projects too. Wish I was that good with soldering electronics/ DIY fabricating & taking things apart!
