Hi all,

Long time Sportivo owner and an avid forum troller.

I have never posted, but returning after a few years as I am trying to help my sister out.

I drove the Sportivo for approx 3 years and instead of selling after getting a company car, my sister wanted it - lucky for me because I didn't want to let it go and I get to drive every now and again.

I've just noticed very slight shake/tremble whilst accelerating In low range, and thought to ask for any opinions on what it could be. The car has done 82,000 and has been very well taken care of. It is only slight (could mostly be in my head).

Any help is appreciated, as she is not a forum member.

Thanks alot everyone.

Anthony.

Hey Anthony,

Is the car on coilovers by any chance?
I got the same problem; trying to ask a few guys on the Sportivo facebook page.
Everyone's saying there must be a bolt that's loose or a buckled wheel but I doubled checked everything before and it's all fine; all bolts tight, nothing wrong with wheels or wheel studs etc.

Is there a certain speed it occurs at? Mine is at 30-40km/h and happens every time at that speed

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your reply and apologies in my delayed response.

I have since sold the Sportivo for my sister (unfortunately).

The car was not on coilovers, all stock standard suspension and wheels.

I did have a set of 18x8's on there for about 3 months; after changing back to stock I'm not sure if it was balanced and aligned - may have been the issue.

Happened at a similar speed as well.

I hope you solve the issue as I know its frustrating.

Cheers,

Anthony.
