Coolant Leak 2008 Aurion
Same here Rob. Weeks of continuous/ intermittent rain and the tyranny of life events have hindered my routine. My coating has long since gone to God mate. It's flat as a tack right now. I have some Avalonking Armour Shield ceramic coating sitting here, so I might as well put it to work. I'm going to get a friend to help me with this one as it's going to require more elbow grease then normal. Full decontamination, clay bar, machine polish, coating including the wheels. Engine bay will also get a clean too. Then there's the interior.... I might tackle that before I head over to his place for the exterior treatment. For sure mate. There will be quite a few I imagine 😄 -

Upgrading Ascent/Ascent Sport tail lights to SX/SL type LED tail lights
from what i understand the wiring is different for stock headlight and taillight. and the programme is also different. basically can’t do it with a straight swap. -

toyota majesta crown 2011 airbag options
thanks Dan. im still trying to get to the bottom of this. the bags themselves dont appear to be an issue- not leaking and work fine with the height adjustment. still trying to get to the bottom of it. thanks for the link. just need to work out how to tell the ECU that the bags are disconnected i guess? -

2011 Crown Majesta front end noise help please
nope. took it to pedders and they can hear it and reckon itll cost me $2k per strut to replace them. but ive found some that are $1200 each..but thats genuine. was planning to get them to take it out and see exactly what is causing the noise. ive got a few mates whoa re into cars much more than i am and they reckon its almost not noticeable, but im a bit of a stickler and it annoys me. coilovers are a cheaper option but if its somehting like a dry bush and it can be replaced without having to buy the whole assembly then ill probably do that. -

Coolant Leak 2008 Aurion
Tony I am in the same position having not washed Faye in months, mostly due to it being bloody cold or pouring rain about. So she is overdue for a wash and check over. I do however have the Flex wax coating on her so she doesn't look dirty just very light dirt on the wheel's lower body so should be fairly easy. I also when drying her open the bonnet to wipe off the water and she gets a good look over then for anything odd. Looking forward to your Pic's of the wash and Ceramic Coating applied she will glow well for sure mate. KAA -

Coolant Leak 2008 Aurion
I've been pretty slack of late. Haven't washed the Aurion in months I'm planning a full decon and paint correction soon with the view to apply a ceramic coating so it's more robust protection and aid in making my maintenance washes a little easier. I'll post up when I do,- 1

Coolant Leak 2008 Aurion
Every time I wash my car, usually every 2-3 weeks (depends on weather), I raise the bonnet to chamois all the accumulated water on the edges etc & it is here that I do my visual checks. If coolant is missing it will certainly be obvious, same with brake fluid & engine oil to a lesser extent since I already know it doesn't use any. Every 2 weeks minimum is a good time frame for a quick sticky-beak regardless 😉- 2

Current Car Care Specials
Just had a quick look on Repco's site and I never knew they sold the "Bigboi" range of blower dryers. I purchased a four stage blower some years ago, I think off ebay, and it's been very handy, especially when detailing an engine bay. Some of you may not be familiar with these machines. They don't just blow air but rather warm filtered air so not only can you get the drying done faster, you don't blow dust over the surface you're drying. Very nice machine. There are a couple of other brands on the market too, but I found this particular one to be slightly better in construction, especially the quality of the hose and the attachments. https://www.repco.com.au/en/car-care-panel/power-cleaning/vacuum-cleaners-air-blowers/bigboi-blowr-pro-drying-system-9m-hose-bonus-pro9moffer/p/A5542994- 1

Rear Tailgate 2008 Kluger Grande
Hi all, I have replaced my dented tailgate with anothe Grande one from a wrecker, fitted up easily but locking and auto open/close dont work. Manually closing, it doesnt pull in automatically and lock, doesn't push in and lock and and push button above number plate doesnt work either. Auto open/close not not working as well. All electrics are connected and tried exchanging bottom lock mechanism with the original one but no go. I know about the button next to glove box and having rear tailgate wondow closed. Any ideas, suggestions or anyone had this problem? Thank you -
