Hey,guys!

I own a 2000 Toyota Camry Csi V6 and I had 180000km service in November 2013. When I had the service in November, I told Toyota service re engine start problem.

However, they said there was no problem in my car but I still can not start the engine rarely.

I went Toyota service again to fix this problem in December but they still said some wire was loosen and no other issues.

After December, I could not start the engine twice then I went Toyota service again in January 2014.

At this time, they said the injector were leaking so they recommended removal and ultrasonic injector cleaning service.

Based on the logbook service, injector cleaning service done on 150000 km and 180000km service.

Is it reasonable to do ultrasonic injector cleaning service?

Thanks,

maybe try using fuel doctors (from super cheap - green bottle) first, see how you go ?

These additives will not be enough to do the job. That is something you use after once you have them cleaned up first.

I have been informed (by a reliable source) that the injectors for the 1mz-fe do not respond well to ultrasonic cleaning. He said getting an on-board injector clean is the way to go. I had Lube Mobile do an onboard clean for $199.
