Aftermarket Satnav 2007 Camry

Hi Guys,

I'm looking into aftermarket satnavs but the ones that will blend into the dash so it won't stick out like a sore thumb look but I want the quality there are so many on eBay to pick from. So I want your advice and the right direction to select one.

Had one of those after market units ,the quality was really bad buttons are like kids toys ,sound quality was horrible ,you get what you pay for ,

other people might say its good etc everyone has different opinions ,but i have compared this to a genuine unit and you just cant compare

Is there an issue with map updates from Toyota on the Genuine unit there is one on ebay but seems pricey and has no map CD to come with it.

That's eBay prices and i also think there rip off maybe even more from toyota ,the unit am selling has the latest maps ,so you wont need to update for a while ,if you do need an update i can get maps half price as my mate works at Toyota .

I like the look of yours but it won't blend into the dash as it's black and that part of the dash is in silver.

You can always dip it in black ,so members have done this

if your after something like this ? i just picked up this on eBay for $200 posted has only AUX no USB

There's one on ebay for $500 with no map CD. Did this come with map CD ? Will I need a GPS Antenna ? Can I get updated maps from Toyota for this unit ?

Yeah they have one every year i can make you a copy of vol 19 ,i got mine with antenna if it doesn't come with one there like 30 from eBay overseas ,

you will also need a mic if your going to use the phone calling etc the mic sits were the sunglass holder is ,if you get all for 500 then that's not bad

Would be interested to know if there's something for Camry 2011. The eBay one looks good, however I am after one which is compatible with original Camry reverse camera as well

Guys, i would not trust ebay dvd/gps unit they are low quality, unreliably and the seller is 10,000k away from you. Buy from an established audio shop at least you can always drive back and complain. Always dvd whether dingle din or double din these day they all allow you to connect rear view camera. The take home message is what you pay is what you get.
