rear wheel / suspension movement AE93

Recommended Posts

i went to change rear left wheel last nt and found when gripping at 9 & 3 O'clock there is about 5mm of lateral movement. No wheel bearing noise. i suspect this is the bushes in the control arms. this may explain the vagueness in the steering? my first question out there is about driving safety. if i can control the car ok, is it otherwise safe?

thanks in anticipation of your help and comments. Rgds Wayne

Selbys to the rescue $175 for two kits does all the rear suspension.

Toyota genuine supplies the lower rear arm complete at $270 a throw.

Steering vagueness fixed.
