Can't find wheels for Gen5

Guys, I need a set of 16" or preferably 17" alloys for a 2003 Altise. Can't find anything decent.

There were Vortex 17" wheels for Sportivo before, but I went to dealership today and they told me it is discontinued. Which is not surprising of course, given its age.

What my best bet is? If somebody bought wheels for Gen5 recently, please recommend.

I've got Vortex 17 inch wheels on mine and they are quite good.... if you are keen on the vortex wheels, keep a lookout on e-bay as some dealers may post some up to get rid of old stock...

I will, but the chance is too little. If dealers don't have them now and they are discontinued, it's unlikely they pop out somewhere.

The only option I see now is to stalk after the stock Sportivo rims from wreckers.

- Plenty of 16 inch alloys are cheaply available from Gen5 Sportivos, check wreckers.

- Plenty of 17 inches are around from Aurion and Gen 6,7 Camrys

- But I prefer 18 inches, if are upgrading the wheel once for all

What's the offset on Gen6,7 Aurion and Camry wheels. Is it +45mm? AFAIK on Gen5 it's +42mm. Does it make any difference?

All Toyota alloys are +45 offset. Not much difference between +45 and +42.

bathuu, what're your wheels? Look really good. Can you tell brand/model/specs?

They are Nissan 350z wheels, +30 and +33 offset. Have a look below my thread.

Ok, so the wreckers option. They sell wrecked cars that were damaged in accidents. Is there a chance I can end up buying warped alloys, which might be unnoticeable at first sight?

Has anyone bought wheels from wreckers? What can you say?

So just a heads up for those who come across this topic later on. I bought this set of 16" alloys, which is pretty common on ACV36R. And I like them most. 17" and 18" are cool. But this is a 10 years old Camry after all.

Pretty happy with the purchase. And wouldn't mind buying from wreckers again.
