fuel door indicator

Recommended Posts

hey guys + gals,

this might seem like a silly question but does the "fuel door" and the little triangle light up on your dash all the time??

just got my sportivo last week and just noticed that it never goes off even when the fuel door is open, nothing happens?

is that normal?

hahaha don't worry... i thought i had a dodgy trip meter for about 30 seconds. I was scrolling through the trip meter whilst driving when i got to the 4th one and it had a whole heap of dodgy looking characters like this _=

haha i thought something must have been wrong until i decided to press and hold the button in to try to reset it and discovered that it is actually a meter for changing the brightness of the dash lights. LOL!

Oh and seeing as though this thread is basically finished.. i just wanted to say ever since i have got the sportivo i have been seeing ****loads more.

Spotted:

Silver Sportivo coming off the bridge over the train lines at Sutherland this afternon

Blue Sportivo caning it up Gladstone Rd at Castle Hill today, after (i think) leaving the dealership

White or Silver (i forget) Sportivo at Fox Studios on Monday on 3rd floor towards the back. (if this was you your car was safe from being doored... i parked next to you :P)

There has been more but i can't remember them off the top of my head! lol... The sportivo numbers are slowly increasing.... either that or i am just starting to notice them more :P

i swear i felt so stupid about the same thing.... first i see the fuel thing alight when im pulling out from the dealership ....... so first thing i think is dodgy dealer he hasnt put petrol in the car ......then i look at the fuel needle and it was above half way so now im thinking bloody hell the cars faulty already so i havent even pulled out of the drive way n i reverse back and ask him and he just looks at me pretty funny and goes no thats just telling you what side the fuel inlet is on :blink: boy did i feel dumb  ......... the worst part of it is the fact that i have been back so many times for genuine problems... sorry Characteristics :P :P
