G'day all,

I have an '83 RN41 2wd Hilux into which I'm putting a 5 speed box out of an '87 Hilux. Not sure which box it is, some people tell me G52 some say W52.

I'm also putting a KUN26 rear diff centre with 3.58:1 gearing.

With the cable driven speedo what driven gears are available?

How do I calculate which driven gear I need?

I haven't chosen wheels and tires yet so that will give me some wiggle room.

This is all part of a Commodore V6 conversion and I'd like to get the right driven gear in before I install the engine and box.

I'm hoping to keep the original instrument cluster for that 'Retro' look.

Thanks for reading, any info appreciated.

Hey bud, you need to put pen on paper and write down -Wheel size, tyre size O/D measurement, final drive (diff )ratio,

Then ask Toyota what speedo drives are avail.
