they are already out, but at over $1100US just for the parts not really cheap and for 10kw gain....

The cams on the 2zz are pretty good according to Meridian Motorsports. What was known as after market cams about 10 years ago are now in our sportivos. He started going on about degrees and stuff, but either way thay are pretty good.

pretty good job if its a true 15hp gain. N/A is hard as rock to tune especially if its a strong motor.

It makes me wonder if it really is worth developing Cams, why didn't the japanese tuner such as TRD make one? They did make piston set and header to work together which is pretty impressive if you looked at the TRD dyno example, that's with panel filter too. Meridian is right about the cams, since the hi cam is pretty wild for factory equiped parts.

I think Meridian have piston kit they developed on their own also, the owner was showing and explaining it to us when Shao and I were there.

Danz - TRD does make cams for the car .... i'll try and dig up the info at home ..

i saw the kit sold on toysport and they wanted 5500 USD for them - it included the cams. pistons valves and springs

Oh they did make cams? Its not listed on TRD japan website though. Maybe its race - only parts. I guess they would have, aferall, they got this 11k rpm full race speedo for celica - kinda make sense since with cam u need to rev higher to make power.
