EGR Blanking plate and sensor switch

Hi I have installed the EGR Blanking plate in and I I thought I now get the engine light come up on the dash, I am trying to figure out which sensor I need to connect to its self to make it think it is still working.

Does any one know which sensor I should be looking at?

For any one who has done this before what might you recommend to do?

i think in the newer modle cars there is a sensor that will tell you if you have put a blanking plate in. i got told that the trick to getting around that sensor is to drill a 4-5mm hole in it so it blocks most of the gases but lets enough through to trick the sensor, allowing th light in the dash to turn off.

I'm about to install won in my hilux where did your one go into because i never received instruction i would appreciate the help please

From what I hear you need a 7mm hole in your blanking plate.
