I have a 2014 Corolla Levin Hatch and I'm unhappy with the transmission. I mentioned this problem in my intro post. When decelerating (at any speed but mostly low) then accelerating there is a sloppy feel to the transmission. Hard to describe but like a backlash from worn components. This may be normal for Toyota but does not occur as far as I know in other makes with similar gearboxes. I've driven a Nissan X-trail which was smooth as silk. I mentioned it to the dealer at the 1000km check but they brushed me off. Anyone experienced similar issues??

If possible, consult another dealer or persist with your current one, don't wait until your next serviceto get it sorted.
