Difference in ignition coils amongst 1zz and 2zz engines?

Hey all,

May someone please shed some light upon this matter. As the name suggests, is one ignition coil design shared across all ZZE series Corollas? I have a Sportivo and i'm under the impression that one of them needs to be replaced. I'm looking for them at the wreckers, however given how rare Sportivos are down here in Melbourne, I was wondering whether I can interchange them for one coming from a 1zz engine.

The 1ZZ COPs are physically shorter.

Try, http://www.rockauto.com, you should be able to pick one up for less than $80AUD shipped. They are a trustworthy and fast company that I have used many times. I actually bought a set of 1ZZ COPs from them.

I failed to point out that I need the plug connector, not the coil pack themselves...So yeah, I'm bringing the focus down to that.

The connectors are the same.
