What micron are the standard Hilux diesel fuel filters?

Is there a problem with installing a lower micron FF with regards to the fuel/ injector pump

My default ones are 10 micron. Going much smaller just reduces the flow too much unless there's a positive pressure comming into the filter. Their main purpose is to remove water, rather than solids.

Thanks Ross,I recently had trouble with a ford ranger 3.0ltr TD, leaking injectors ect,the mechanic suggested that I should install an auxiliary filter, He said they do one @ 10 micron, but as this is the same as standard one I thought it to be a bit of a waste.

I have since bought a new HiLux, not the latest.
