05 Hilux 3.0 d4d. to remover EGR or not to remove

Hello.

I have a 05 hilux Kun26r 3.0 common rail turbo diesel.

My hilux has a black dog chip in it and im wandering if its a good idea to block the EGR valve off and if its a good idea what are the advantages and WHY.???????

You may get a check engine light.

There is so much information out there on it, I think Google or the New Hilux forums will net you the answers you are after.
