Hi guys and gals

i have a hilux sr5 dual cab 05 model 4x4. Iam hearing a grinding noise when turning in reverse on the left side. I've checked both sides of the car thinking maybe some warn rubbers/ bushes. Can't seem to see any differences. Iam no car guru. But I've fixed 90% of my car issues in the past on my own with the help of Internet YouTube and forums like this one. This in the first problem I've had with this car. I would love someone to give me some advice/ guidance. To wAt this problem could be and how to fix.. Thank you .

Front, back , wherefrom, only in reverse?  Harsh metalic bring hi or low pit h?  Have you had a look for foul8ng by rock or plant material.cyclical or continuous. Wheel speed or not.  Happens when rolling clutch in and out?

Mileage?  Much offloading?  No oil leaks?c9uld be left front drive train or mechanicals there.  Its the first such to go, always.  Check for excess movement or heat after run.  CV might have been swapped rather than replaced as cheap life extender…

Front sounds like it on left hand side. Only when turning in reverse. Its a auto. Hasn't done much off road. Sounds a abit like grinding brake pads. But it's not that. 230000kms
