I have a 2012 SR turbo diesel, I started it on the weekend and the battery symbol on the dash stayed on and has remained on.  I have replaced the battery, even though it was fully charged and the charge rate under load was measured to be 14.6 volts only dropping to 13 volts on initial load up. I took it to my mechanic and he told me that I needed a knew alternator. After replacement the same problem existed.  Has anyone had this problem and do they know what to do and where I can get some circuitry on the matter. Thanks heaps John A.

Was it replaced with a brand new unit?

Was the regulator replaced as well?

I would also check for any damaged/broken wiring, especially if you take it offroad.
