Hello everybody, I drive a 93 Camry wagon that we purchased 18 years ago second-hand and runs like a Swiss watch .......until now. Blew a head gasket. What a nightmare to fix on a battlers budget. No oil in the water and no water in the oil . Froth and bubbles in the radiator. Two days just to get the head off. Today I stripped the thread in the head for the belt tensioner bolt. Used a helicoil to repair. Hope it holds....... Cheers Phil

Helicoil should be fine, did you use anti-seize on it? That would be my only suggestion.
