Good day

Has anyone with a 1800 Corolla found that the amount of oil that comes out is more than the 3.7L that it should have.

I have the 1600 (3ZZ-FE) Corolla, though it is the same as the 1800 (1ZZ-FE). I drained the oil cold and the dip stick showed perfectly full before draining. Yet when i drained the oil I found 4.3L of oil (double checked). Then when I put the new oil in, the dip stick only showed full after putting in about 4.2L of new oil.

I have not had a chance to take my car to TOYOTA yet.

Im note sure where u got that full was 3.7L but for the sportivo 2zz-ge 4.3 L is what it takes and if u change the oil filter its 4.7 L

cheers

Thanks

The TOYOTA book says 3.7 L with the oil filter.

You are correct with the 2ZZ-GE, it is 4.3 L.
