I have been provided with a new Prado GXL Turbo Diesel for work and had it 10 days now.   This is my first Prado and most likely my last.  It's slow, feels like a truck, and handles like a sponge. I get motion sickness when driving it because the suspension is so soft it rocks from side-to-side and when you come to a sharp stop the car continues to bounce up and down.  It feels like I'm in one of those virtual rides  - is this normal for a Prado?

If you are concerned, you should probably take it to your nearest service department and have them check over it.

Took the Prado in for it's 1000km service and asked them about the movement on the road and apparently the "boat like" (the term the mechanic used) rocking is normal.  I will be trading it as soon as I can.
