hilux exhuast noise

Hello people.

I have a kun26r 2005 Toyota hilux turbo diesel.

I have a noise on acceleration which sounds like a exhaust leak I've checked all joints n looked for obvious black residue where any leak may be .

If I put my foot on clutch n rev motor it doesn't seem to be there.

 

Does anyone have any ideas.

Stationary as well as rolling?

only on accelleration.  Could it be the Cat or muffler packing up somtimes it loud and other times its not there.   Toyota have said i have a stuffed uni joint in the rear but i dont see that as problem. they put it on hoist and asked me to come over and i couldnt hear as they went through the gears.
