G'day all,

Does anybody know the weight of the stock 16 inch wheels? You know, these boys:

I've tried the forum search but come up with nothing, all the discussion is about 17/18 inch wheels. I tried asking the people at the local Toyota place and they looked at me as if I was insane, is there a specific department or something I could contact at Toyota?

Cheers

No.

They would be fairly heavy. I have a set of 17's as spares and they are quite heavy around 10kg.

You can always weigh items like wheels on a standard set of bathroom scales. First, weigh yourself in your standard clothing, and then again with a wheel in your hands. Take the scales to the garage if your wife objects to you bringing wlheels into the house.

A tyre shop might give you a good idea. Take the pics along.

If you're buying some online and trying to work out postage cost, you could email the seller for that info.
