Hi,

I am new to the forum, so my apologies if this has been asked before... I am in the process of getting a RWC for a YN58 Hilux and the drivers side window is faulty.

At the moment it does not wind up and down smoothly and occasionally gets stuck. The rubbers also need replacing. My main issue is that the door has an older style metal trim - with the older style plastic I would just pop them it off, fix the problem and be on my way.

However, I haven't quite sussed out how to remove the metal trim without damage to get at the guts on the window winder.

Any ideas?

Cheers
